PLEASURES & CHINATOWN MARKET POP-UP JUICE TST
JUICE Tsim Sha Tsui welcomes LA-based trending brand “PLEASURES” to have its pop-up and visual exhibition ‘My Life on the Internet’ in store. A wide range of the latest tees, hoodies and bomber jackets are offered to the public. The event will last for 10 days from March 23 to April 1. As part of Art Basel, this exhibition shows a number of art pieces created by the founders of “PLEASURES” Alex James and Vlad Elkin. As present in their artwork, the “PLEASURES” clothing has gone beyond garments with a heavy focus on building identity through cultural appropriations and the after-effects of our digital lives on the Internet. At the same time, CHINATOWN MARKET is also part of the pop-up in store. Founded in New York by Michael Cherman, this brand took inspiration from Canal Street, New York, where Chinatown is located. The stocked tees and hoodies come in select styles, featuring the hottest embroidered rose motifs of this season, the “Thank You Have a Nice Day” print, CHINATOWN MARKET logo and its signature smiley face.
The crowd showed incredible energy when Alex James, Vlad Elkin and Michael Cherman showed up. CLOT’s Kevin Poon, fashion photographer Christina Paik and A$AP Bari also came to show support.
