I’m happy to announce that I’ve just signed with IMG for representation in the US and Europe. They are arguably one of the best agencies in the world, and I’m very excited to work with them! It’s competitive out there but.. its at least worth a try, right?
Anyway i’ll have to celebrate all by my lonesome on the plane, as I’m about to board a flight to Beijing. One thing I love about flying in Asia: free drinks!!
Didn’t know Sports Illustrated magazine was in China? Me either, till I was booked for their swimsuit edition. 20 girls, in swimsuits, and great weather! As Sports Illustrated does every year, they don’t reveal the cover girl until the last minute so I’ll have to wait until September like everyone else to find out!

Had the privilege of working with world renowned make-up artist Pat McGrath for the Max Factor show. She and her team flew in from NY for this event to showcase the top 10 runway looks from this season. Not only has she worked on everything with everyone, but she is also the sweetest person!

Here’s me in Dior, and the adorable Danni Li in Miu Miu

My turn in the kitchen…
Watermelon and Feta Summer Salad
I added some mint, parsley, lime-soaked onions and olives to the traditional recipe and it was AMAZING! So good on a hot day.

Veggies and Quinoa Pasta in a Mustard Balsamic Vinegarette

Healthy and nomnomnom
I’m in love with these simple and easy-to-wear pieces from a spankin new brand called HANALIE. How cute is the black Gailie lace maxi dress! and the Chloe full skirt, And the Reia Maxi! Perfect for summer. The Gailie maxi dress is sold out but I’m bugging them until I get mine.

Check out their website HERE and don’t be surprised if you see me in the look book one day :)
Wow it’s been a while since I’ve logged into this thing. About 6 weeks I think, because that’s how long I’ve been on the road! 6 weeks, 8 cities, and +5 kilos later, I’m heading back to work in Asialand for the time being. It’s been an amazing trip with family, old friends, new friends, MIND-BLOWING food (hence the 5 kilos), and of course, some work in between. Which was also fun. But now I’m all vacationed-out and can’t wait to get busy! Maybe its the Capricorn in me(?)
Below are some pictures from my trip… any guesses as to where Ive been? :)

Here are a few of my editorials that are out in China this month. Cosmo Bride, Self, GQ, etc. and also FHM which includes an interview, but unfortunately I can’t read it! anyone care to translate??
As for my whereabouts, I’m no longer in China and am heading West! Mixing work with pleasure isn’t always such a bad thing :) I’ve got a lot of destinations on my list so stay tuned..

It’s getting down to my final days in Beijing – and I’m enjoying every minute of it! On Saturday after work (a bausch ad with famed photographer Chenman!) I showed up at 798 Art district in Beijing, completely unprepared for the Beijing Electronic Music Festival that was going on. Of course my friends knew, but being out of it as usual I had no idea this “party” was in fact a full-blown music festival. For those of you who don’t know, 798 art district in Beijing used to be a bunch of military factories and has now been refurbished into an artist community housing works of many famous artists and up and coming artists. I love how it fused music with art, which made it different from the other music festivals i’ve been to in the past. One second you’re dancing to electro music in a sea of people and the next moment you’re walking by a giant statue or gallery. Like this random transformers guy made completely out of car parts.

A while I posted some pics from the Ray Li cover shoot, and here it is! Dior Dior and more Dior..

I’m not gonna lie.. they went photoshop crazy on my boobs in this next one:

My chinese music video debut.. hahah.
World Expo and Rockbund Museum opening. Wish I had a little more time.. hopefully I can go back again soon.

The area known as the Bund in Central Shanghai is beautiful. Because of settlements by various countries, a lot of the architecture here portrays European and American influences. They’ve pretty much kept and restored all the buildings built in the 20s and converted them into hotels, luxury stores, restaurants, etc. Guess what this building is?

Giorgio Armani.
you can even go hang out in this guy’s Armani Casa. haha

A little preview of my “aviation” themed shoot with FHM for a 7-page editorial and interview. This is the first time that they’ve used a non-Chinese model for this, so I’m proud to be a part of it. It’s not exactly family friendly.. but if you want to check it out and find out some things you don’t know about me, pick up the June issue!
I also found out it’s a Holiday for the next few days in China! I’m off to Shanghai for a couple days for the opening of the World Expo and the Rockbund Art Museum. Hope you all enjoy your holiday, and if it’s not a Holiday where you are… ha-ha.

Loving this bright color for Spring. It’s matte, so none of that shiny business. Try it!

Shot in Nanjing. It was my first time in the city, and although it was freeezing I had a lot of fun.. it’s always kinda fun for a girl to see herself in big white dresses :) The issue comes out in July!

Congrats to Liu Wen for becoming the first ever asian face of Estee Lauder. Considering this is the holy grail of modeling it’s big news! She was also the first Asian model to walk for the Victoria’s Secret runway show.

I’ve never had so many guys staring at my….
Feet.
Today I wore my new pair of Adidas Star Wars Hotskatehighs designed by the CLOT team. Yep they’re for girls too.
