Having launched for public sale on February 15, the highly anticipated debut NFT offering from Edison Chen’s 2426C Studio, titled “NVLPE Series Collection 01”, comprises a total of 8,888 distinct digital artworks by a diverse line-up of eight creators including Dr. Woo, The Heart Project x Emotionally Unavailable, CLOT, ALIENEGRA x EDC, Xin Yu, James Fauntleroy, Objective Collectibles, and Sandra Jockus.

Among these projects, TRENDY GANG is a collection of 1,888 unique NFTs that imagines an 8-bit universe inhabited by fantastical personalities straight from the mind of Chen and illustrated by E.T., a South Florida-based pixel artist who explores the world of pop culture, retro vibes and destruction of luxury goods. In this expandable world, everyone is invited as long as they have wavy fits.

The first TRENDY GANG are the CLOT SOULJAHZ, representing their international Asian set. Each NFT is a unique combination of different characters like skaters, kung fu dudes, and hip hop guys, all the way up to ultra-rare figures like mermaids, angels, dolphins and grim reapers, who are paired with covetable backgrounds, accessories, and outfits based on real-world designs. The more you collect, the more points your crew is rated — all the better to fight other gangs with your fits, not with your fists.

A legendary soldier who will represent the CLOT SOULJAHZ to the death. She is a master of the 5 Deadly Venoms and can kill a man with a blow!

UNLOCKING UTILITIES WITH YOUR TRENDY GANG NFT:

Holders of TRENDY GANG NFTs will gain exclusive access to airdrops, merch drops, collabs and more, with special benefits for those holding ultra-rare characters.

For example, characters wearing CLOT outfits will be granted an especially high number of points, while holders of TRENDY GANG members with a specific clothing colorway may be gifted an exclusive sneaker set to drop in Q3 of this year. Then there’s the rarest character of them all, the Rajah Grim Reaper, which comes with a secret utility that will last a lifetime.
