Art has been a recurring theme and inspiration in recent times for the co-founders of Emotionally Unavailable - Edison Chen and Kyubum Lee - also known as KB Lee. The brand is an opportunity for the duo to change the perspective of the youth to not be so centred around hip-hop and club culture, but rather to introduce them to a new wave of style that can push and reinforce refinement and class rather than the grit and grime of hip-hop.

The pair from a young age have sourced a lot of their inspiration from hip-hop and street culture, but the more they grew as people, the more they realised that young individuals needed a change in scenery and to have a new way of looking at life as a whole - through the eyes of an artist. Emotionally Unavailable have announced an exclusive collaboration with world-renowned Sanrio character Keroppi, in a collection of T-Shirts, Hoodies and Dad Caps. Previously only available on the NTWRK app, Emotionally Unavailable has chosen to release this exclusive collaboration at JUICESTORE. Keroppi is a character among many in the Sanrio saga, including famous characters like Hello Kitty, Gudetama, and My Melody.

The character was initially released in between the 80’s and 90’s, it has appeared numerous times on numerous merchandise and now in the memories of children in the 90’s era. Emotionally Unavailable's ethos is based upon the idea of a hopeless romantic, you can see the interpretation of this concept from the design of the garment, from the character's face merged with the melting heart logo, to the "Shy T-Shirt" displaying a shy Keroppi portraying the character as one that has romantic notions about life. The collection includes the Shy T-Shirt in Pink, Word Mark T-Shirt in White, Keroppi T-Shirt in Grey, Heart Hoodie in Black, Melting Heart Hat in White and Unavailable Shy Hat in Navy.
