KNOW WAVE Cultivates Open Dialogue Through Clothing and Media

In a mission to blend music, art, and fashion into one cohesive, creative community, KNOW WAVE was created in New York City in 2012 as an international extension of the Los Angeles contemporary art gallery, Morán Morán (formerly Morán Bondaroff), which itself was founded four years prior in 2008. In addition to its homebase of New York, the cult collective also functions from LA, London, and Tokyo. KNOW WAVE operates primarily as an online radio platform, offering listeners free talk shows, DJ mix sets, and podcasts.

However, aside from their digital media endeavours, KNOW WAVE also began venturing into streetwear by designing a collection of graphic tees, hoodies, sweatpants, and headwear. Interestingly, the clothing is essentially the only medium in which KNOW WAVE maintains a physical presence with its ever-evolving community, as all other artistic aspects of the brand are based solely upon technology.

Previously only offered at JUICE in Taipei, items from the latest KNOW WAVE collection are now available at JUICE Hong Kong and online at CLOT.com.
