Celebrating Michael Jordan the CLOT way: the CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW” pays tribute to the journey of achieving mastery. Jade is a prized symbol of China, jade is not only praised for its representation of beauty, protection, power, eternity, but for its artistry. Jade stones are slowly abraded with a skill that takes a lifetime to master. 

The most essential factor masters share is perseverance and persistence – a philosophy shared by none other than basketball legend Michael Jordan as he dominated the courts, and it's from these two symbols of determination, CLOT introduces the new CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW”, propelling the treasured value into the future.

The CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW” and a three-piece capsule collection are scheduled to launch at select JUICE locations worldwide on May 14.

A black satin upper gives the shoe a lustrous sheen and is contrasted by red accents found on the lacing system, reflective laces and the Jumpman logo on the reflective tongue - these features takes stylistic cues from traditional jade ornaments which customarily adorns traditional attire and comes with a red string.

The translucent beauty of jade is highlighted by jade beadings in sets of twos and threes on the lace stays, a green lacelock and the sheer rubber outsole with glow-in-the-dark properties. The number 23—a symbol of Michael Jordan—comes embroidered in Chinese characters near the co-branded logos at the rear, whilst iconic shark teeth detailing on the air-assisted midsole, on the other hand, appears in a speckled metallic silver that stands out from the rest of the colorway.

Each pair of CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW” shall come with an extra set of reflective black laces and a special box bearing the color and pattern of jade.
